Mantra ( Man-Tra )
A transcendental chant. A Sanskrit word composed of two syllables.
The 1st syllable, man, refers to the mind, thoughts or thinking process.
The 2nd syllable, tra, to free, to release, liberate or disentangle.
So the whole word mantra means to use transcendental sound vibration (chant) to literally free the mind or to be released,
overcome the daily effects the mind creates, its worries and concerns that can lead to stress.
There are of course many mantras that one can use.
Here is an example:
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare Hare
